The morning covers the Boyana Church and the Serdica Archaeological Complex. The afternoon leaves free time around Vitosha Boulevard and the National Museum of History.
The morning crosses into Greece; by afternoon you reach Thessaloniki to see the White Tower, Aristotelous Square and the Rotunda.
The morning covers Thessaloniki's old town, Ano Poli. In the afternoon you move to Kavala to walk through the Kavala Aqueduct and the stone streets of the Panagia neighborhood.
A long travel day from Kavala to Athens, heading south with rest stops along the way, arriving in Athens and settling into the hotel in the evening.

The morning covers the Acropolis and the Parthenon, followed by the Acropolis Museum. In the afternoon you explore the Plaka neighborhood, the Ancient Agora, and watch the changing of the guard at Syntagma Square.
