Explore each day at your own pace; selecting a day brings its main stop into focus on the map.
In the morning you meet your tour leader and start the day beneath the 1,500-year-old dome of Hagia Sophia. The late morning covers the Blue Mosque and the Hippodrome, the afternoon takes you through the courtyards of Topkapi Palace and its Bosphorus views, and the day ends among the colorful streets of the Grand Bazaar.
The day begins with a 360-degree view of the historic peninsula from Galata Tower, and continues along Istiklal Street on the nostalgic tram. In the afternoon you visit Dolmabahce Palace, followed by a Bosphorus cruise departing near the palace, where you watch the bridges and waterside mansions from the water.
The day opens with a ferry crossing to Uskudar and views of Maiden's Tower. After exploring Kadikoy's market streets and Moda's seafront, the return ferry brings you to the colorful houses of Fener-Balat to close out the day.
The day is left completely free; you can keep shopping at the Grand Bazaar, or explore a neighborhood you haven't seen yet at your own pace. Your tour leader is available throughout the day with suggestions.

A relaxed day: morning is for last-minute shopping around the Grand Bazaar, and the afternoon is yours for a hammam break or a walk along the seafront, if you like. The evening is a free closing, with a chance to say goodbye as a group.
After breakfast and hotel check-out, depending on your flight time you may have a little time left for last-minute shopping or a short walk. A private transfer takes you to Istanbul Airport.

- Comfortable walking shoes are recommended, as the program covers most ground on foot.
- Istanbul is mild in September; a light jacket is enough for the evenings.
- The public transport card is handed out on arrival day and can be used on the metro/tram/ferry during free time.
