Pisa

Known for the leaning tower on the Square of Miracles; the tower tilted as the ground settled during construction, and its angle was stabilised by engineering work at the end of the 20th century. It is the birthplace of Galileo Galilei, and the buildings on the square have been UNESCO World Heritage since 1987.
